Capmul® GMS-50K (Glycerol Stearate) is a mono-diglyceride of hydrogenated vegetable oil. Capmul® GMS-50K is a multi-functional emulsifier that acts as a surfactant, opacifier, and lubricant. Capmul® GMS-50K is listed in the Food Chemical Codex (FCC) under Glycerol Monostearate and is generally recognized as safe (GRAS) according to 21 CFR § 184.1505. |
