MAKON UD-8 is a C11 branched alcohol ethoxylate with an HLB of 13.2 making it suitable for water-based formulations. A high HLB is typically good for particulate soils.
MAKON UD-8 does not have a gel phase in water. It can be used for various hard surface cleaning applications for fragrance solubilization, as well as a functional additive for use as a wetting agent. This product can be used as a replacement for tridecyl alcohol ethoxylates and nonyl phenol ethoxylates due to its branched structure
