Hydrogenated Ethylene /Propylene /Styrene Copolymer (and) Hydrogenated Polyisobutene. Acts as a film former and binder. It is a liquid polymer that is soluble in many traditional cosmetic oils. Provides effective water repellency and adhesive properties. It can efficiently bind high surface area powders at low use levels.
It is also a 100% solid binder and can effectively prevent syneresis while improving color “payout” in lip color applications. Used in sunscreens and color cosmetics products.
