Decyl Glucoside. BergaSoft DG 50 by Berg & Schmidt acts as a surfactant and foaming agent. It is based on renewable raw materials and is readily biodegradable. It is ethoxylate-, sulfate- and preservative-free. It boosts foam quality and provides mildness and transparency to formulations. It is easy to thicken and offers excellent foam properties.
It is also available in mass balance RSPO. It is compatible with a wide range of other surfactants, thickeners and even cationic conditioning polymers. It is gentle to the skin and hair. It is cold-processable and suitable for clear formulations. BergaSoft DG 50 is used in facial cleansers, skin friendly rinse-off formulations, mild and clear shower gels, high viscosity body cleansers, high foaming shampoos, micellar waters, shaving or cleansing foams.
