Carbomer. CosVivet RM 40 by Brenntag Specialties (EMEA) is polyacrylic acid. Acts as a rheology modifier and stabilizer for emulsions and suspensions. It shows long stability and improved performance, is compatible with most cosmetic raw materials and displays excellent gelling, wetting and suspending power.
CosVivet RM 40 can produce gels in water as well as other organic solvents and is effective at low concentrations, creating very thick gels at a use level of below 1%. Used in hair gels, body washes and many other applications.
