This multi-functional ingredient is a blend of glycolic emollients which are used to improve the skin and hair conditioning properties. It imparts a soft & silky feel to end products and minimizes water loss from the skin. This ingredient also possesses intrinsic antimicrobial properties. It can be used to create self-preserving formulations. Iscaguard® HOD is recommended for shampoo & shower gel (rinse-off), creams & lotions (leave-on), O/W- & W/O emulsions, wet wipes, eye- & lip care and children under 3.
