Bis-PEG/PPG-20/20 Dimethicone. ABIL® B 8832 by Evonik is a non-ionic silicone conditioning agent and hydrophilic emollient. Also, acts as a surfactant. It improves synergistically the conditioning properties of cationic polymers like Polyquaternium-10 and cationic guar. It is cold processable.
This ingredient provides a pleasant feel and smoother skin when used in skin cleansing products. It contributes to improved rheology and gel strength of water-in-Si emulsions. Also, improves foam quality. ABIL® B 8832 finds application in formulating clear shampoos and shower gels. The shelf life of the product is 24 months.
