Cocoamidopropyl Betaine. LEBON 2000HG by Sanyo Chemical Industries is an easily biodegradable amidopropyl betaine type amphoteric detergent base. It is used as a texture enhancing agent for hair conditioners and a soap-scum dispersant. It exhibits low irritancy to skin & eyes and produces refined rich foam when shampooing. It is compatible with anionic surfactants and produces a thickening effect when mixed in specific ratio.
This grade is highly tolerant to hard water. The minimal sodium chloride content in this product stabilizes the appearance of hair shampoos when used in combination with cationic cellulose. LEBON 2000HG is recommended for use in hair and body shampoos.
