Candelilla Cera. CosVivet Candelilla wax distributed by Brenntag Specialties (EMEA) is a hard vegetable wax obtained from the Euphorbia Cerifera shrub indigenous to Mexico. The wax has a pleasant, sweet odor and has an extremely good oil binding capacity. In sticks, it provides firmness as well as an excellent surface gloss.
It also facilitates mold release. It can be used in combination with other waxes to increase their melting point, improve the skin feel of the final formulation and the long-lasting effect of decorative cosmetics. CosVivet Candelilla wax is mainly used in W/O formulations. The shelf life of this ingredient is 3 years.
