Cera Alba. CosVivet Beeswax white distributed by Brenntag Specialties (EMEA) is a beeswax. It has a pleasant, honey-like odor. It fulfils the purity requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia. In stick formulations, it improves the structure, firmness & oil retention and adhesion properties of the product.
It also facilitates mold release. In emulsions, it acts as a viscosifying and stabilizing agent, softens and smooths the skin. Its occlusive properties are advantageous in barrier creams and color cosmetics. CosVivet Beeswax white can be used in sticks, creams, lotions, sun care products, make-up and hair care. The shelf life of this ingredient is 3 years.
