Dynasylan® SIVO 203 by Evonik is a multifunctional aminosilane compound. Acts as an adhesion promoter. Provides improved product performance and quality. It is soluble in alcohols, aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, but it can undergo reactions with ketones or ester solvents. Exhibits excellent wetting on substrates and it forms weather and moisture resistant bonds to substrates which are typically difficult to adhere. Improves the adhesion to plastics such as PC, PET and AI.
Offers improved in elongation and modulus. It is mainly dedicated for use in adhesives & sealants to improve the adhesion of hybrid products (like silylated polyurethanes, MS Polymers), RTV silicones, two part polyurethanes and two part epoxies to inorganic surfaces and some difficult plastic surfaces. Possesses reduced yellowing and reduced staining of transparent end products.
In addition, Dynasylan® SIVO 203 can lead to fast sealant curing, high cross linked products and it imparts both additional flexibility as well as hydrophobicity. Listed with EINECS/ELINCS, TSCA and IECSC. It has a shelf life of 9 months.
