Lanco™ RUSTGARD FW by Lubrizol is an alkanolamine phosphate carboxylate. It is a water soluble corrosion inhibitor. It can inhibit corrosion by passivizing the metal substrate. It exhibits non-foaming, stablity in hard water and good wetting properties. It is free of nitrite.
It is designed for use in adhesives. It is compatible with water-reducible alkyds, acrylic dispersions, styrene acrylate dispersions and urethane dispersions. The dosage level of the grade is 1.0-2.0% as supplied, based on total formulation weight. The shelf life of Lanco™ RUSTGARD FW is 730 days.
