What Are Methacrylate Adhesives

Methacrylate adhesives (MMA adhesives) are fast-curing, high-strength structural adhesives based on methyl methacrylate chemistry. They bond metals, composites, plastics, and mixed materials with excellent toughness and impact resistance.

How Methacrylate Adhesives Work

General Production Process

  3. Package resin and activator separately.

  5. Allow polymerization and curing.
