Aerafin™ 17 Polymer by Eastman is a fully saturated, low molecular weight propylene-based olefin polymer. It exhibits consistent quality and thermal stability. It is compatible with polyolefin polymers, waxes and hydrocarbon tackifying resins.
It offers hygiene construction. It shows good adhesion with excellent peel strength in the formulation and low color and odor. It enables a robust adhesive system with a broad processing window and sprayability at temperatures as low as 130°C. It requires lower tackifier loading than with most SBC-based formulations. Aerafin™ 17 Polymer is recommended for building & construction hot-melt, automotive, wood-working, mattresses, filters, non-woven, hygiene- and packaging adhesives.
