Isopropyl Myristate. BergaCare EM-14 /MB acts as an emollient, solvent, fragrance enhancer and binding agent. It is a refatting agent, i.e. an ingredient of a cosmetic formulation that provides the skin with the fat it needs & helps it to stay soft & supple. It reduces evaporation, enhances the spreadability and thus increases the moisture content of the skin.
Also found to reduce irritation and drying out by improving the skin barrier. BergaCare EM-14 /MB is used in skin care, hair care, decorative cosmetics, lip care and sun care products
