Ethylhexyl Palmitate. Ceraphyl™ 368M ester by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as an emollient. It is non-occlusive and provides non-oily, light and dry after-feel. It is a suitable mineral oil replacement for beach protection formulations.
It has no impact on absorbance curves of UV actives. Also acts as a binder for pressed powders. Ceraphyl™ 368M ester is suggested for use in hair stylers, color cosmetics, wipes, body care, facial care, lip care applications, after-sun, self-tanning and sunscreen applications.
