Coco-Glucoside. Glucoside 818UPV2 by Connect Chemicals acts as a non-ionic surfactant, co-surfactant and emulsifier. It is an ethoxylated, preservative-, polyethylene glycol- (PEG) and sulfates-free, alkyl polyglucoside (APG). It offers formulation ease of typical non-ionics combined with the foam characteristic of anionics, proving superior performance.
It can be cold processed and allows cost-effective formulations in rinse-off products. It is easy to thicken and offers mildness to the solution. Recommended for formulating shampoos, shower gels, intimate & facial cleansers, liquid soaps, toiletries, skin-, hair and baby care products. It is suitable for the formulation of cosmetic products declared as “natural”. Glucoside 818UPV2 is Ecocert, COSMOS approved, NATRUE allowed and RSPO certified. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
