Methanol rosinate. Acts as a depilatory agent, binder, solvents & carrier. It is an amber-colored, near-neutral, tacky, viscous liquid. It is resinous in nature with clarity, high refractive index, low vapor pressure, high boiling point and good thermal stability.
It has excellent surface-wetting properties. Used in depilatory waxes and in various cosmetics and personal care products.
