Phenoxyethanol (and) Dehydrocetic Acid (and) Benzoic Acid (and) Sorbic Acid. Iscaguard® POA by distributed by Brenntag Specialties (EMEA) acts as a paraben-free, environmentally friendly preservative blend.
It is suitable for formulations with acidic pH and provides protection against bacteria, yeasts, molds and fungi. The incorporated phenoxyethanol allows for increased headspace protection during storage. Iscaguard® POA can be used in O/W as well as W/O emulsions. It is recommended for shampoos, shower gels, creams, lotions, wet wipes, eye care, lip and oral care formulations as well as products for children under 3 years.
