Overview

3. Steps to Manufacture Tile Paste Adhesive
Step 1: Prepare the Water Phase
Add water into the mixing tank. Start agitation and introduce dispersing agent, defoamer, preservative and pH regulator. Mix until uniform.
Step 2: Add Thickeners & Rheology Modifiers
Slowly add cellulose ether and starch ether while mixing to avoid lump formation. Mix until complete hydration and viscosity development occur.
Step 3: Incorporate Fillers
Add calcium carbonate, talc/dolomite gradually under agitation. Maintain medium speed to ensure smooth dispersion and prevent agglomerates.
Step 4: Add Polymer Binder
Introduce acrylic or vinyl acetate binder into the mixture. Reduce mixing speed to avoid foam formation. Continue mixing until homogeneous.
Step 5: Adjust Final Properties
Check viscosity, pH, density and adjust with water or thickener if required.
Add final additives (defoamer, preservative) if needed.
Step 6: Packaging
Fill the finished tile paste adhesive into sealed buckets. Label and store in dry, cool conditions.
