Synthetic Beeswax. CosVivet synthetic Beeswax VEGAN distributed by Brenntag Specialties (EMEA) is a vegan wax. It consists of a combination of esters and waxes of natural origin. This vegan wax provides excellent emulsifying properties and has a stabilizing & oil-binding effect in emulsions.
A further advantage of this wax is that it does not cause discolorations of emulsions commonly observed when using pure natural waxes. Due to its hardness and relatively high melting point, CosVivet synthetic Beeswax VEGAN is perfectly suited for consistency control and stabilization in color cosmetics such as sticks & mascara. Also, it is very well suited for formulations which are free of water. The shelf life of this ingredient is 3 years.
