DEFINITION
 

Flake emulsifier widely used cosmetic grade alcohol that meets or exceeds both NF and CTFA expectations. This material finds wide usage in antiperspirant sticks and in creme rinse applications. In emulsions, the stearyl alcohol acts as a viscosity builder and a co-emulsifier.
