PEG-220. Polyglykol 10000 by Clariant acts as a solubilizer, carrier substance, viscosifier, softener, binding and moisturizing agent. It leaves a pleasant feel on the skin.
It shows good compatibility with cetyl alcohol, glycerol, stearic acid, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, casein and vegetable albumin. It shows no emulsifying effect. It is used in hair styling and conditioner products.
