Behenyl Alcohol. Behenyl Alcohol 2275 #354 by Koster Keunen acts as a solubilizer, gellant, thickener, binder, wax & consistency factor. It is a white, waxy solid with a minimum concentration of 70-80% of behenyl alcohol.
It is not tested on animals. It is designed to reduce the crystalline structure which enhances the functionality. Behenyl Alcohol 2275 #354 is used in color cosmetics, sunscreens, SPF products, mascaras, sticks, lip balms, emulsions, antiperspirant, skin and hair care products.
