OVERVİEW

Polyurethane adhesive putty for marble is a two-component, solvent-free, high-strength bonding compound designed for repairing cracks, filling gaps, and structurally bonding marble, natural stone, engineered stone and other mineral-based construction materials.
It provides excellent adhesion, elasticity, mechanical durability, chemical resistance, and strong long-term stability.

Meaning & Definition

Polyurethane adhesive putty for marble refers to a reactive polyurethane polymer system (Part A resin + Part B hardener) that forms a dense, tough, stone-like structure after curing.
It fills cracks, restores broken stone pieces, and ensures long-lasting bonding.

Description

  • Solvent-free

  • Two-component

  • Thixotropic paste

  • High gap-filling ability

  • Excellent adhesion to all marble, granite, terrazzo and artificial stones

  • Fast curing and easy application

Preparation / Making Procedure

1. Component A – Polyurethane Resin Paste

  • Polyurethane prepolymer

  • Reactive fillers (calcium carbonate, dolomite)

  • Thixotropic agents

  • Plasticizers

  • Additives (adhesion promoters, wetting agents)

  • Pigments (optional)

2. Component B – Hardener

  • Polymeric MDI or modified isocyanate

  • Accelerators

  • Stabilizers

Production Steps

  1. Disperse fillers into polyurethane prepolymer at low–medium speed.

  2. Add thixotropic agents to form a smooth, paste-like structure.

  3. Adjust viscosity with plasticizers.

  4. Add pigments and homogenize.

  5. Prepare the hardener (Part B) separately under moisture-free conditions.

  6. Package Part A and Part B in moisture-resistant containers.
